Some premises are not cleaned to look good. They are cleaned to pass an inspection, protect a licence, or keep vulnerable people safe. A gym changing room, a dental practice, a food unit and a communal stairwell all fail in different ways and all need a different specification.
That is what separates contract cleaning from office cleaning: colour-coded equipment to stop cross-contamination, documented COSHH control, recorded cleaning schedules that an inspector can read, and staff trained on the specific risks of your sector.
We build the specification with you, document it properly, and give you the paperwork trail that comes with it. If a CQC inspector, an EHO or a managing agent asks how the premises are cleaned, you have an answer on paper.

Why it is worth it
What you actually get for the money
Outcomes, not a feature list.
Paperwork that survives an inspection
Specification, method statements, COSHH assessments, signed schedules and audit reports. Not because we enjoy admin, but because it is what an inspector asks for.
Cross-contamination controlled
Colour-coded equipment by area — washrooms, kitchens, clinical, general — and staff trained on why it matters. It is the basic control most contractors quietly skip.
One contractor, many sites
If you run several premises across Hertfordshire, you get one specification format, one account manager and one invoice, with per-site reporting underneath.
Priced against a specification
Quotes are built from measured areas and agreed frequencies, so you can see exactly what you are buying and change the frequency rather than the standard when budgets move.
How it works
From first call to final walkthrough
No surprises, because you know each step before it happens.
Survey and requirement
We measure the site, identify the risks specific to your sector, and ask what you are being held to — a licence condition, a landlord obligation, an inspection regime.
Specification and quote
You receive a written specification listing every area, task and frequency, priced transparently. Anything you do not need comes out before you sign.
Mobilisation and documentation
Staff inducted on site, equipment stationed, colour-coding established, and your health and safety pack issued: insurance certificates, method statements, COSHH data.
Delivery and audit
Cleaning to schedule with signed logs, a monthly audit by your account manager, and a quarterly review where we adjust the specification to how the site is actually being used.
Pricing
What the price depends on
- From £21 per hour, or a fixed monthly contract figure built from measured areas and agreed frequencies.
- Periodic works — carpets, hard-floor treatment, high-level cleaning — are quoted separately and scheduled annually.
- Multi-site clients receive consolidated invoicing with per-site cost breakdown.
Every figure on this site is a guide price. We confirm the final number in writing before any work starts, and it does not change on the day.

Questions
Commercial & contract — your questions
The things customers ask us about this service specifically. General questions are answered on the FAQ page.
Yes, as standard at mobilisation and refreshed annually or whenever the work changes. They are site-specific, not a generic template with your name inserted.
Yes. Clinical work uses colour-coded equipment, disinfectants applied for their full stated contact time, and recorded schedules suitable for CQC evidence. Clinical waste handling remains your registered contractor's responsibility, and we work alongside them.
Usually a weekly or fortnightly visit covering entrance, lobby, stairwells, lifts, handrails, bin stores and external sweeping, with a photographic report to the managing agent or residents' association after each visit.
Within reason, yes — we hold reserve capacity for existing contract clients specifically for closures, incidents and inspection notice. Tell us as early as you can and we will confirm honestly whether we can staff it.
Yes. Public liability and treatment-risk cover, with signage, wet-floor management and out-of-hours scheduling used to keep the public and your staff safe while we work.
Twelve months is typical for contract cleaning because of the mobilisation involved, but we will run monthly rolling terms where that suits you better. We would rather earn the renewal.
